Add a Layer Transparency property.
 This enhancement is complete and is available in Map Suite 5.5.24.0 and newer. See the Discussion Topic link for ongoing discussion.
This would add the ability to control the transparency (a.k.a. opacity) of an entire layer independently of its style.

Map Suite Services Edition
Add a method that would animate centering the map on a point.
This enhancement would a new method, for instance "FlyTo", that would animate centering the map on a certain point. This would be useful for vehicle tracking applications, where you might want to smoothly pan the map over to the center point of a moving vehicle, rather than immediately snapping there.

The text mask is always a rectangle. I would like to be able to specify the text mask with rounded corners, This would make it much easier to add "shields" to a map.

This would allow you to specify the location of the Theme folder for your Web Edition project. The Theme folder contains the images and resources that govern the appearance of the zoom bar, panning controls and other interactive elements on your map.

Currently, Map Suite is able to read projection information from a .prj file. However, if no .prj file exists, Map Suite should try to read the projection directly from the .tab file.

Add capability to use built-in Map Suite symbology with a MarkerOverlay.
Currently, when using a MarkerLayer, you are required to supply a bitmap image or icon file to represent the marker. This would expand that functionality to include the built-in symbols within Map Suite (i.e., the circle, diamond, star, etc.).

Add City/Country Geocoding for places outside of the USA.
A nice feature to add to the Geocoder would be a match plugin that would look up City and Country locations outside of the United States where public domain street detail data is hard to find.

Add File Geodatabase Support.

Add Kriging interpolation method.
In addition to Map Suite's existing Inverse Distance Weighting interpolation method, we have received a request to add a Kriging interpolation method as an option. In some cases, Kriging may provide a more reliable or desirable interpolation.

Map Suite Routing
Add left turn, right turn and U-turn weighting for routes.
These proposed new properties in the Map Suite Routing Extension would allow you to set weighting on each of the various types of turns in a route, including left turns, right turns and U-turns. This would let you generate routes that give preference to right turns over left turns, avoid U-turns as much as possible, or other similar configurations.
